Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy applies to clashsdk.com and all its language subdirectories, describing what data is generated when visiting this site, how that data is handled, and the boundary between this site and external resources. The wording stays specific and avoids commitments that don't match actual implementation.
1. Scope of Data Collection
This site is purely static, built from HTML, CSS, and front-end scripts, with no account system. No page requires registration or login, and there is no message board, mailing list, or form asking for an email address or phone number. No business database runs server-side, and no data that directly identifies a specific individual is stored.
As with any website, the web server produces standard access logs when responding to requests (request time, request path, IP address, User-Agent). These logs are used only to diagnose issues and mitigate abnormal traffic, are rotated and cleared on a regular schedule, and are not cross-referenced against other data sources.
2. Analytics
This site runs a self-hosted, open-source web analytics program to understand page views, referral types, and device/browser distribution, helping prioritize documentation maintenance. Data is used in aggregate form only, such as "tab switches on a platform filter on the download page," and is not used to identify or track specific visitors. The analytics program runs on this site's own infrastructure; data is never sold or shared with ad networks.
If a browser has Do Not Track enabled or uses a content-blocking extension, the analytics script may not load; this does not affect any site functionality, and every page and download entry point works the same without scripts.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
This site's own page logic does not set cookies for identity tracking. Front-end scripts may use a small amount of browser local storage (localStorage) to remember interface preferences; for example, the currently expanded tab is carried by the URL hash and is not persisted to disk. The analytics program sets its own anonymous identifier cookie to distinguish aggregate visit and visitor counts; clearing browser cookies resets it, with no account-level association created.
This site does not integrate any third-party ad SDK, social plugin, or fingerprinting script. Fonts, icons, and scripts referenced on pages are all served from this site's own resource directory, with no hidden requests made to third-party domains.
4. Downloaded Files and Third-Party Links
Client installers listed on the download page come from each open-source project's own release channel, and some links point to app stores or project official sites. Once redirected to an external site, data handling is governed by that site's own privacy terms, which this site cannot control. Get installers only through the entry points on this site's download page, and avoid unverified mirror links; watch for OS security prompts before installing, and refer to the usage guide for permission-granting steps.
Example configurations and sample subscription URLs appearing in blog posts are placeholder text for teaching purposes and do not point to real services.
5. Policy Updates and Feedback
This policy is revised periodically as site features change; revisions are applied directly to this page along with an updated "Last updated" date at the top, without individual notifications. Major changes (such as new data collection items) are clearly noted in the update. Continuing to use this site is considered acceptance of the current version of this policy.
For questions about this policy or site content, check the relevant sections of Troubleshooting and the usage guide first; together they cover most common usage and download questions.
